Upgraded performance and design meet proven strength and technology
Both reels make use of aluminum deep spools and I found the casting distance on both reels to be almost the same, and even with the Origin-Cs higher end bearings it just narrowly edged out the Origin-A in max distance, but I did find it to be the better caster for making pinpoint accurate casts with lighter lures
This will cause your reel to speed up and slow down during a cast
I dont deal with line tangles
Out of the box, it was a jackrabbit, able to cast midrange lures longer distances than anything else I owned without backlashing
Salt, moisture and grit get into the reel and cause the gears, shafts and bearings to fail
