Unlike the more expensive TD-S and TD-X reels the Procaster's Magforce puts the brakes on near the end of the cast, causing the lure to slowly decelerate and drop
When I got a chance to put it on a rod and use it, I found it very user friendly and well balanced
This reel gets used for Flippin, Froggin, deep jigs, swim jigs in warmer weather, soft plastic stickbaits, topwater and late season jerkbaits
If youre going down to the back 40 pond to catch a few eating-sized channel cats or trying a local creek, the simplest reel will work just fine
The high retrieve allows for 37 inches per crank of line pick up speed, while the more powerful, and less stressful low retrieve allows for 15 inches per crank
They achieve this with MicroModule Gearing
