A great choice for throwing bigger baits or when you are targeting larger fish, the Ambassadeur S 5500 features a powerful 5.1:1 gear ratio for serious winding power with tons of torque
Most of the reviews i read mentioned the drag as being very smooth and strong which handled big fish quite well
We use the same side caps as the 6500 but widened the frame, spool and worm gear
Fortunately the contact us option was user friendly
Bait Finesse Systems So my rule of thumb is spinning reels for light lures and weightless baits and baitcasters for everything else
Some items will need work or may be missing small parts, instructions or accesories
