I bought the blanks
Second I have in my group an ultracast 5500c with a 990604 on the foot, and this one reel amongst many has a screw that goes into the reel post instead of the E clip that all the rest have and also an odd spring piece as part of the bail mechanism, and I cannot get the bugger back together or figure how the spring sets when I need to re-assemble
This rod has enough backbone to cast slightly heavier baits, and a soft enough tip to play fish on light treble hooks
A small Tupperware-style container with a tight-fitting lid can also do the job, and Ive seen folks use a metal tin with a hinged lid, kind of like an oversized Altoids tin
Spinnerbaits excel in these conditions due to their combination of vibration, flash, and profile
High-quality braid can increase your casting distance by 20% and enhance the overall fishing experience, provided your reel can manage it
