Its too hard in the wind to fish soft-plastics slowly along the bottom
They can be fished all year round but are particularly useful in winter when the water is clear, and vegetation is reduced (they will snag easily)
The wide-mouth level wind is designed for copper and heavy braided lines, making it ideal for targeting deep-water species like salmon and lake trout
From there we take it anywhere you want to go in design
But those monotonous hours in between dont really do it for me
The Beast 300 also features 7 stainless steel HPCR bearings plus one roller bearing, providing exceptionally smooth operation in all water conditions
