Daiwa Lexa Baitcasting Reels in the 300 and 400 series are perfect for so many fishing applications here in the Pacific Northwest that it's tough to mention them all
Performance: I spooled our Ambassadeur C3 4601 with eight pound (8lb) test PLine CXX Copolymer and mounted it on the brand new Denali Lithium L945XD Magnum Crank cranking stick to see how this reel stacks up against today's bass fisherman's needs
Launching sharp casts is good with a spinning reel, but not with a baitcaster
The larger sizes provide significantly more drag and are a great option for expanding beyond light inshore use
Final impressions If youre on a budget, youll have a hard time beating the Abu Garcia Black Max
Oh, and one last thing that I almost forgot to mention
