I like to throw them on at least a 7-foot rod with a medium heavy action

One of the great things about them also is how easy they are to use

Whether retrieving a crankbait or winching on a trophy smallmouth, the 90-millimeter swept handle with soft-touch knobs puts you comfortably in control, while a Power Disk drag with up to 15-pounds of stopping power delivers authoritative hooksets and puts the brakes on the angriest of lunkers

Instead, it feels like a combo for anglers who want to throw into places where bass live and lures sometimes go to die

Smallmouths can also be found around structures like docks
