Bit pricy at 130, and they look a bit bland, but they're the most exciting reel that Shimano have released in ages and so I will certainly be considering one or more of the 5000s when/if I can afford it Before I do, I will be checking out the new Aero BB too - they're about 70 and got the Hagane gearing (expensive cold forged virtually indestructible) which kinda sounds almost too good to be true - but if it's as good as I think, like the Stradics, it could be the reel that defines the next decade of fishing.
On the other hand, larger fish muskies, striped bass, marlins and others will require heavier lines and generous spool capacities to accommodate the lengthy runs these fish take after snatching a lure
This fish can grow quite large, and naturally you may think that very big lures and baits will attract a trophy-size one, but in very cold waters and harsh conditions, that could be a mistake
Be safe on the water, be kind to people, and tight lines
