Chloramine is a 50 50 mixture of bleach and ammonia. This combination creates a poisonous gas that is designed to kill microorganisms in water. The gas is deadly if inhaled in high concentrations. A special carbon is used to remove the chloramine from the water. This is the only carbon filter designed for the purpose of
