Wanderlust Clouds I couldn't help but notice

I couldn't help but notice a spectacular sunset above the western horizon in my side view mirror

making this the perfect representation of the gemstone and its signature trait of purity

There's no haze and humidity

It all worked out

I’ve maintained a dual-track mentality of processing a narrative while painting

Wanderlust Clouds I couldn't help but noticeThis is an improvisational piece inspired by my recollections of growing up in southern Wisconsin, where iconic red barns dotted the landscape of dairy farms in the countryside. I enjoy playing with the multifaceted colors of clouds and terrain within compositions like this.
