It was fairly common to see briefcases in original photos and even frequently being carried by German POWS so it would follow that they even had it with them up to the time of their capture

MEASUREMENTS (approximate): Bust 34" Waist 25 1 2" Hips full; up to 42" Length 43 1 2" Interesting print with shapes, horses, wolves, birds, etc. Buttons down the front. Side metal zipper. Some discoloration fading on the shoulders, collar and under arms. Some staining along the hem on the bottom.
