This is one of the less common versions of the German army blanket but not the "textbook" example most collectors look for. I have had this type of blanket with markings before so I know it is correct. This blanket doesn't have any markings. One end has been cut short down to the red stripe and both ends surged with red yarn possibly done during the war as a repair or early postwar. It is dirty and stained.
