A snowfall of 3-5 inches brings a beautiful winter landscape scene along a frozen South Fork Kishwaukee River on this cold February day at Wildflower Park

I moved along through the park crossing the bridge over Eakin Creek West with a little bit of mist still hovering over the landscape that had yet to burn off from the warming of the morning sun

focused and began photographing

I began photographing the wildflowers that consisted of blue vervain

I could smell the beautiful sweet fragrance of the common milkweed
