Crossing one of the bridges with a view of LaSalle Canyon Falls at Starved Rock State Park

I guess you could walk your way around it in about a half hour or so

I was in awe at what I was seeing as a calm and peaceful scene is being reflected onto the surface of the river

It is made up of sandstone that has eroded over time leaving behind canyons and buttes

I notice a male downy woodpecker nearby probing the tree branches for insects
