Frigid temperatures at 0F and an overnight snowfall of 3 inches take hold of this winter wonderland landscape along a completely frozen South Fork Kishwaukee River with a view of a peachleaf willow tree and some elderberry bushes on this February morning at Wildflower Park

I reached the bridge that crosses over the South Fork Kishwaukee River shortly after leaving the lake in which I looked back and seen this beautiful view of the colorful sky with the bridge and the peachleaf willow tree that I have come to enjoy photographing and seeing along my hikes in the park

A snowfall of 3-5 inches brings quiet and stillness to this beautiful winter landscape scene as I make my way through the park on snowshoes during this cold February day at Wildflower Park
