A nice early dark case Great Western Railway wood case block indicator

this is an earlier instrument having the larger diameter case of 4 3/16"

There are a pair of iron brackets attached which allowed it to connect with its sister sign forming a triangle when secured to the station wall

this one is in excellent tested working order and has a great polished patina

RA 7821 G.W.R. PATTERN B.R(W) GUARDS VAN SIDE LAMP ship-zone-c This Great Northern Railway castThis early B. R(W) guards van side light lamp is the same heavy duty style like the earlier G. W. R. version, the top is distinctive as it has pressed ridges as did its G. W. R. predecessor. The lamp is in great ex railway service condition and complete with reservoir and red shade. The case is embossed B R (W).
