FLOWER FROM THE CUP PLANT LAKE I look for an area

I look for an area with reflections of the box elder trees that will help compliment the sunset off in the distance with cumulus clouds moving slowly above at Wildflower Park

I looked for some good composition among the wildflowers and misty landscape to set up the tripod and waited briefly when the morning colors of the sunrise began to fill the sky

the morning sun produced a soft light that illuminated this prairie landscape scene with a cattail emerging from the wetland at Wildflower Park

The night before I had checked the weather and the forecast was to be mostly overcast with partial sun breaks during the early morning hours at sunrise

A misty morning covers Wildflower park with a peachleaf willow tree and elderberry bushes being illuminated by the spring sun on this May morning in Northern Illinois

FLOWER FROM THE CUP PLANT LAKE I look for an areaCup plants (silphium perfoliatum) grow abundantly throughout much of Wildflower Park reaching heights of over 6 feet. (460 42)
