For the 2024 Swartland Chenin showcase, Jean turned to two old vine vineyards one on the granitic hilltop of the Paardeberg and the other on a sunny slopes of Jakkalsfontein. A cold, wet winter, and a warm, dry start to summer at both sites set the stage for a dramatic Chenin of tension and depth.
