A very rare Great Western Railway Policeman's whistle made from hard treated horn

this device would be placed over the signal lever handle when maintenance  work was taking place on the signal

largely in connection with a new mine complex at Cynheidre which didn’t reach full potential and the boxes closed in 1966 and 1968

I have seen hundreds of token over the years with all different types of wording but never with the words "SECTION"

The sign measures 91cms x 51 cms
