This bull was with about thirty cows and was bugling to another bull across the valley. It was the peak of the rutting season and the cows were getting nervous. A bit of the steam billowed out of the bulls mouth as he was bugling. At one point the cows and the bull ran past; another photographer was in the area and had moved too close to them. Bull elk during the
