Intense and enveloping on the nose with notes of red bramble fruits, hints of tobacco, leather and liquorice. On the palate it is dry, robust and persistent with a refined tannic charge. Pairs particularly well with meat based dishes, including wild game. Also a delightful accompaniment to well aged cheese and cured meats.
