I later seen it swimming the South Fork Kishwaukee River near Wildflower Lake

I noticed the low lying mist hovering over the prairie in the distance with box elder trees behind lining the banks of Eakin Creek West

windblown snow leaves patterns behind this patch of grasses as the afternoon sun illuminates this prairie landscape scene at Wildflower Park

It wasn't hard to notice all the false sunflowers that were in perfect condition and thought that they would be perfect to photograph

ICY LANDSCAPE FROM THE PARK WILDFLOWER LAKE I later seen it swimmingA freezing rain storm passed through the night before, leaving behind a landscape engulfed in an icy winter wonderland scene along the South Fork Kishwaukee River. Trees of oak, cottonwood, box elder and peachleaf willow are frozen in almost an inch of ice with the river moving quickly along avoiding most of the freezing except along the banks at Wildflower Park.
