SOLD (1920) George 13 ins with pale gold artificial silkThis is George George is a beautiful rare old Chad Valley teddy bear dating from the 1920s. During his life he's been well loved and repaired along the way. His blonde mohair is generally thick but he has some bald and thinning areas as well. He has cupped ears sewn across the facial seams, glass eyes with painted backs and long arms with spoon shaped paws. His nose and face needs some work. He comes without his bell. He's a large, heavy character
