Marking Out the Slot for the Through Wire At this stage if I were using screw eyes for the line tie and hook eyes of the lures I would get on with rounding over the edges of the lure blanks, but since I am using the through wire construction method for these lures I feel that it will be easier to mark out and cut the slot for the through wire now while the edges are still square
